MUBI has announced that David Lynch and Mark Frost's Twin Peaks will be arriving on their streaming platform from tomorrow.

To mark the original series' 35th anniversary, Twin Peaks (1990-1991), as well as Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series (2017), will both be made available on the platform.

MUBI's VP Global Head of Programming, Katharina Feistauer, said in a statement that “Launching Twin Peaks alongside Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series is a dream for MUBI, bringing one of the most loved and discussed series in TV history to the platform. Whilst this launch has been months in the making, the sad news of David Lynch's death […] makes this opportunity to show his iconic work even more special. We are excited for the Lynch fans in our membership to revisit the episodes comprehensively, as well [as] creating an opportunity for new audiences to discover it for the first time.”

Twin Peaks follows the idiosyncratic FBI agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) as he investigates the murder of a young woman, Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee), in the Pacific Northwest town of Twin Peaks. As the investigation progresses, several other mysteries and conspiracies, edging on the supernatural, are also uncovered around the town, all linking back to Laura's murder.

All thirty episodes of the original show will be available to watch on MUBI, alongside all eighteen episodes of Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series. The limited series is directed solely by Lynch and picks up 25 years after Palmer's murder.

These new additions celebrate the work of David Lynch, who died in January. His other projects include The Elephant Man (1980) and Mulholland Drive (2001), both of which earned him Academy Award nominations for Best Director.

Twin Peaks and Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series will stream on MUBI from 13 June 2025.
