The nominations for the 16th Dorian TV Awards have been released.

GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics revealed the list of nominees, which celebrates LGBTQ content across television and streaming. The society currently consists of 560 members.

, Severance, The White Lotus and Hacks all lead with six nominations each. Two more HBO/Max shows, The Pitt and The Last of Us, are also in the running, securing five nominations each.

This year's nominees feature a wide range of names from across the world of film, television, and . Among them are Beyoncé, Jean Smart, Colin Farrell, Colman Domingo, Michelle Williams, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Lyonne, Bella Ramsey, Noah Wyle, Ncuti Gatwa, and Katherine LaNasa.

Out of all the networks and streaming platforms represented, HBO/Max garnered the most nominations with 39. Netflix followed with 22, and Apple TV+ ranked third highest with 13.

The awards also include a category for Best Unsung Hero, highlighting a series that the voters feel deserves more widespread attention. Nominees in this category include Fantasmas, the final season of Evil, and Overcompensating.

For the comedy genre, Somebody Somewhere earned four nominations.  Two-time Dorian winner Abbott Elementary follows closely with three nominations.

In a statement, Diane Anderson-Minshall, Executive Director for GALECA, said “By loving-up series like Hacks, Somebody Somewhere, and even The Rehearsal and Andor—a sci-fi story of the beginnings of a major rebellion—Dorian Award voters once again have shown they have a special affinity for stories of self-discovery and pushing for more […] Like generations of LGBTQ+ people who took on the battle for the right to be who they are, these nominated programs underscore that solidarity, morality, and justice aren't just for superheroes, but can be found in small daily actions.”

The winners will be announced on Tuesday, 8 July 2025 at 08:00 PST.
