Breaking Glass Pictures has released a trailer for the new LGBT+ drama-musical Midnight in Phoenix, from filmmaker Anthony Bawn.
Bawn's latest film, which is described as being about “love, identity, and resilience,” will receive a worldwide release.
The official synopsis reads “This vibrant drama-musical follows the journey of Levi, a charismatic drag queen, and Ezra, the man who unexpectedly sweeps her off her feet […] When a fateful night leads Levi and Ezra into a chaotic misunderstanding at a robbery scene, they find themselves on the run, navigating a series of unexpected twists and colorful encounters. As they evade the law, their bond deepens, reminding them—and the audience—of the power of love, loyalty, and embracing one's true self.”
Dueal Andrews will co-star as Levi/Jax Diamonds alongside Richardson Pierre as Ezra.
Also joining the cast are Brentley Willis as Oliver, Lydia Corbin as Aunt Ida, and Tyree Ballard as Tony.
Midnight in Phoenix is the latest writing and directing venture from Anthony Bawn. Bawn's previous credits include Emo Valley (2024), Bonded (2023), and the TV series Scottsdale (2023-present).

In a statement thanking Wolff, Bawn said “Rich Wolff and Breaking Glass Pictures have allowed me as a filmmaker the space to express my stories in a way I can only see fit! Rich has encouraged me to do whatever ‘within means' lol, which makes the partnership just that great!”
Midnight in Phoenix will be released in cinemas on May 27 2025.
