The Studio Renewed For Season 2 By Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has announced that 's comedy series The Studio has been renewed for a second season. The confirmation comes two weeks before the first season's tenth and final episode, which is set to be released on May 21.

The show follows Rogen as the unlikely executive of Hollywood's fictional Continental Studios, with each episode exploring different issues within the film industry from a comedic perspective. 

The series has gathered attention for its frequent celebrity cameos in each episode, with stars like Martin Scorsese, , Adam Scott, and many others making guest appearances. 

Rogen leads a star-studded ensemble alongside , Catherine O'Hara, , and Chase Sui Wonders as other employees of Continental Studios. The actors are known for their comedic work in Schitt's Creek, Bad Moms, and Blockers, respectively.  

The Studio is the latest project in the partnership between Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who wrote Superbad, Pineapple Express, and This Is The End together.We're thrilled to be making a second season of The Studio,” said Rogen and Goldberg. “We're looking forward to taking the lived experience of making season one and immediately putting it into season two, then repeating that loop for ten more seasons. And, we're excited to keep all our industry friends and colleagues guessing as to when one of their personal stories will stream on Apple TV+.”

The show has been a big hit for the streaming service, with Apple CEO Tim Cook stating that “during Apple's quarterly earnings, The Studio helped Apple TV+ to record viewership in the first three months of the year”. 

The final two episodes of The Studio will premiere on Apple TV+ on 14th and 21st May.
