Neon has released an official trailer for their upcoming body horror film, Together.
Starring real-life spouses Alison Brie and Dave Franco, the film follows the story of Tim and Millie, who find themselves at a crossroads as they move to the country and abandon all that is familiar in their lives except each other. With tensions already flaring, a nightmarish encounter with a mysterious, unnatural force threatens to corrupt their lives, their love, and their flesh.
Brie is best known for starring roles in series such as Glow and Community. She also appeared in the psychological thriller Promising Young Woman (2020) and the horror sequel Scream 4 (2011). Franco is known for starring roles in Now You See Me (2013), 21 Jump Street (2012) and Superbad (2007). He has also directed the 2020 horror film The Rental, which starred Brie. The pair also serve as producers for the film.
Writer-director Michael Shanks helms the project, marking his feature directorial debut.
The film premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival. At the time of writing, it holds an impressive 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics calling it “twisted, gruesome and thought-provoking.”
Together is rated “R” for violent/disturbing content, sexual content, graphic nudity, language, and brief drug content.
The film will be the latest addition to Neon's ever-growing horror movie portfolio. The studio acquired the rights to the film at Sundance after a bidding war for a reported $17 million, making it one of the richest deals in Sundance history.
Recent entries to the distributor's catalogue include The Monkey, Immaculate, and Longlegs. The latter became one of the highest-grossing horror movies of 2024.
Together will be released in UK cinemas on August 21st, 2025.
