Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines.
The film's synopsis reads “Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.”
The Final Destination franchise began in 2000 and has become synonymous with plots following a group of people trying to escape impending death after one of them has a premonition. The series has grossed nearly $700 million worldwide so far.
Bloodlines will mark the final onscreen performance of Tony Todd, who passed away in November 2024. The American actor is best known for his recurring role as William Bludworth in the Final Destination franchise, as well as the titular character in the Candyman film series. More recently, he voiced Venom in the video game Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (2023) and Locus in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (2024).
Brec Bassinger will also star in the film. Bassinger is best known for playing the role of Stargirl in the CW superhero series of the same name.
Richard Harmon, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, and Teo Briones also feature. Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, and Anna Lore complete the main cast.
The film is directed by Adam Stein & Zach Lipovsky. The pair are best known for helming the science fiction thriller Freaks (2018).
Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor wrote the screenplay. Busick is best known for co-writing scripts for previous horror titles such as Ready or Not (2019), Scream (2022), Scream VI (2023), and Abigail (2024). He is also attached as a writer for Scream 7 and the currently untitled Ready or Not sequel.
Final Destination: Bloodlines will be released in UK cinemas on 16th May 2025.
