Burning Star is a new entrant with $6.6 million. Xu Zhanxiong's thriller has only opened in China so far. It is ahead of a re-release of Christopher Nolan's science fiction epic Interstellar (2014), which has made an additional $4.4 million for a running total of $29.1 million.
