Screen Daily reports that the family film was only 4% down on its takings from last week. IF‘s total UK gross now stands at £9.6 million.
Sony's The Garfield Movie has moved up to second, adding £1.3 million to its UK box office total. In its second week, the animated adventure comedy has now earned £6.3 million.
In third place, Disney's Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes made £1.1 million in its fourth week. The 31% drop from last week brings its total to £13.3 million.
Last week's frontrunner Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga has dropped to fourth place in its second week. It made £963,053, bringing its total to £4.5 million.
Universal's The Fall Guy made £523,218, a 31% decrease in its fifth week. Starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, the film has made £11 million at the UK box office.
Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban (2004) was re-released for its 20th anniversary. The third film in the Harry Potter franchise made £393,788 across 524 locations for Warner Bros.
StudioCanal's Sting made £208,643 following its debut weekend. The Australian horror follows a 12-year-old girl who feels neglected by her family and so begins to raise an alien spider.
In its third week, The Strangers: Chapter 1 made £161,235. The Lionsgate feature has now made £1.6 million at the UK box office.
Challengers' £119,967 in its sixth week has brought its total UK gross to £6.2 million.
Young Woman And The Sea starring Daisy Ridley debuted with £64,000. Disney's biopic dramatises the story of Trudy Ederle, the first woman to swim across the English Channel.
