Netflix has released first-look images for the fourth season of Emily in Paris, starring Lily Collins.
The streaming service has also confirmed that the fourth season will consist of two five-episode parts, to be released four weeks apart.
Season three ended with Camille (Camille Razat) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) calling off their impromptu wedding. While this seemingly paved the way for Emily and Gabriel to get together, Gabriel revealed that Camille is pregnant with his child.
The show's creator Darren Star said “Emily finds herself with a busy travel schedule in season four of Emily in Paris. From the French Alps to the piazzas of Rome, viewers will vicariously experience amazing new locations through Emily's eyes.”
Other returning cast members include Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Emily's boss Sylvie, and Ashley Park as her friend Mindy. Samuel Arnold and Bruno Gouery will be reprising their roles as Emily's coworkers Julien and Luc. William Abadie will also be back as perfume creator Antoine Lambert. Lastly, Lucien Laviscount will return as Emily's boyfriend Alfie.
The official synopsis reads “Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups. Mindy and the band prepare for Eurovision, but when funds run dry, they're forced to get thrifty. Emily and Gabriel's chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they've dreamed of.”
The images see Emily wearing new outfits in preparation for her first Parisian winter. Costume designer Marylin Fitoussi told Tudum “Emily is really coming into her own […] with a style that is reinterpreting Parisian fashion codes.”
Part one of Emily in Paris season four will be released on 15th August 2024. Part two will follow on 12th September 2024.
