New Releases On Rakuten TV in June

Rakuten TV have recently announced their latest blockbuster releases heading for the premium VoD platform for the month of June.

Highlights include a return to the Wizarding World with Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The third film of the franchise starring Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne and Mads Mikkelsen and is available on Premium VOD now. Other family hits in June include the enchanting film Cinderella, starring Camilla Cabello, and everyone's favourite blue hedgehog returns to Rakuten TV in the smash sequel, Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Guy Ritchie's new thriller, Wrath of Man, starring Jason Statham, will also be released this month alongside the documentary on the prolific footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, I Am Zlatan. Other titles being released in June include Belle, Great Freedom, Unplugging, Memoria and Goldenera.

Rakuten TV also features an AVOD selection of films which audiences can watch for free (with adverts). In June, some of the titles included are the Academy Award-winning, Departures, Johnny Mnemonic, starring Keanu Reeves, I.T. starring Pierce Brosnan, Salt and Fire starring Michael Shannon and Gael Garcia Bernal, and the sci-fi thriller, Bleeding Steel, starring Jackie Chan.

The new period drama Becoming Elizabeth will also be heading to Rakuten TV from 12th June. The new drama sees Alicia von Rittberg as Elizabeth Tudor, an orphaned teenager who becomes embroiled in the political and sexual politics of the English court on her journey to secure the crown.

In addition to all these exciting new, and old films available on the platform, to celebrate the upcoming release of Jurassic World: Dominion in UK Cinemas from 10th June, Rakuten TV are also giving its members the opportunity to buy and keep titles in the franchise from just £3.99.
