The fierce and boldly entertaining Gunpowder Milkshake will be available in cinemas and on Sky Cinema on 17 September across the UK and Ireland.  Directed and co-written by Navot Papushado (Big Bad Wolves) and produced by The Picture Company partners Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman (Unknown, Non-Stop, The Commuter and Come Play), the film is the must-see action-packed thriller for this Autumn.

Gunpowder Milkshake boasts an all-star cast including Karen Gillan (Avengers: Endgame, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, Guardians Of The Galaxy), Lena Headey (Game Of Thrones, 300), Carla Gugino (The Haunting Of Hill House, San Andreas) Chloe Coleman (Big Little Lies, My Spy), Michelle Yeoh (Crazy Rich Asians, Star Trek: Discovery), Angela Bassett (Black Panther, Mission: Impossible- Fallout) and Paul Giamatti (The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Billions).

Gunpowder Milkshake tells the story of Sam (Karen Gillan), who was only 12 years old when her mother Scarlet (Lena Headey), an elite assassin, was forced to abandon her. Sam was raised by The Firm, the ruthless crime syndicate her mother worked for. Now, 15 years later, Sam has followed in her mother’s footsteps and grown into a fierce hit-woman. She uses her “talents” to clean up The Firm’s most dangerous messes. She’s as efficient as she is loyal.

But when a high-risk job goes wrong, Sam must choose between serving The Firm and protecting the life of an innocent 8-year-old girl – Emily (Chloe Coleman). With a target on her back, Sam has only one chance to survive: Reunite with her mother and her lethal associates: The Librarians (Angela Bassett, Michelle Yeoh and Carla Gugino).
