The veteran Japanese developer nocras (who worked on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild) has teamed up with the publisher PLAYISM to release his new solo project.

TASOMACHI: Behind The Twilight is a love letter to classic 90s collect-a-thons like Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario 64. It’s a 3D Exploration platformer set in a mysterious Far Eastern world.

Explore towns covered in cherry blossoms, ancient temples, and other visually striking environments, gathering mysterious collectibles through platforming challenges to help the cat-like residents, the Nezu Tribe.

nocras’ stunning art work can be seen in full flourish in the reveal trailer here:

TASOMACHI: Behind The Twilight is available now on Steam and GOG.com
