Monsters Collide in New Godzilla vs. Kong UK Release Date

. UK have just confirmed that their much anticipated monster showdown Godzilla vs. Kong will be available to rent at home in the UK from April 1st across digital platforms. It means that the film will be available to watch here in the UK the day after the film is released in cinemas and on in America.

The price hasn't been confirmed but looking at their recent PVOD releases of Judas and the Black Messiah, Locked Down and The Little Things you can expect it to be £15.99 for a 48 hour rental.

If you are desperate to see Godzilla vs. Kong in a cinema, The Drive In Cinema in London has confirmed they'll be showing the film between April 18-28 so that's always an alternative to watching it at home if The Drive In is local to you.

Legends collide in “Godzilla vs. Kong” as these mythic adversaries meet in a spectacular battle for the ages, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe. The epic clash between the two titans—instigated by unseen forces—is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth.

Adam Wingard directs an all star cast including Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler and Demián Bichir. But we all know that it's really Godzilla and King Kong that we want to see.
