The hit series from the History Channel, Vikings, will be getting a spin off series which has already begun production. The series is called Vikings: Valhalla and will be premiering on Netflix. This may come as a shock to fans of the original show that can only be found on Amazon Prime Video, in the UK at least.

This news comes as the cast for the new spin off series has been confirmed and is as follows:

Sam Corlett as Leif Eriksson

Frida Gustavsson as Freydis Eriksdotter

Leo Suter as Harald Sigurdsson

Bradley Freegard as King Canute

Johannes Johannesson as Olaf Haraldson

Laura Berlin as Emma of Normandy

David Oakes as Earl Goodwin

Caroline Henderson as Jarl Haakon

Pollyanna McIntosh as Queen Aelfgifu

Asbjorn Krogh Nissen as Jarl Kare

Vikings: Valhalla is set in the 11th Century and tells the stories of some of the most famous Vikings that ever lived. It’s produced by MGM and will be streaming only on Netflix.
